PSAS was founded by Adam Morgan. Having worked on projects that involved sending messages to people on mobile phones, Adam knew there must be a solution to communicate important, time critical messages to the general public.

That solution developed into the Public SMS Alert System. It is well recognised that one of the most effective ways to improve the living and working environments of every member of the public is to enable and encourage them to help each other.

PSAS is designed to help with all aspects of community life, from warning a neighbourhood of serious crime, to for example, informing a small village of a change to a community bus timetable.

There are many schemes already operating a similar service, which are used by the police force, neighbourhood watch communities and the general public. What makes PSAS unique to the other services, is the capability to restrict where the messages are sent. Using post code co-ordinates, we calculate if your post code exists within the effected area.

When an incident or emergency occurs, PSAS can rapidly notify you using this alert system. PSAS is your personal connection to real-time updates, instructions on where to go, what to do, or what not to do, who to contact and other important information.
